Accepting Animals

Understand time, emotional & financial commitment.

Searching free sites with no rules like gumtree or craigslist can be distressing and bias your perception of your ability to help also, so limit your use and discuss your decision to take on board animals with others also.

Animal Post Guidelines

Minimum

1) No illegal animals. 2) No animals to be used for breeding purposes. 3) No exotic animal that requires special knowledge or care to keep them healthy unless it's from someone who has extensive experience with them. 4) Single animals only. Any more than one or frequent posting should be warned or reported to inspectors for potential cruel conditions. 5) You must visit the home of the adopter before consenting to the adoption. 6) No wanteds or offers for non-insect animals to be used as feeder food.

Advised

7) No pet posts for animals which can be taken in by a local Rescue Centre.
