in the past, such tests were used to disenfranchise minorities, so a question of who writes the test is a pretty tricky one. As of now, they are outlawed.

I know it's satire, but I made the title and my first post in a serious manner, to give people the impression that this was actually something serious. This was just supposed to be a little practical joke. I was hoping it would then be very obvious to anyone seeing the video, that it was just satire, and not a message from the government.

I thought it was also funny how Dutch was proclaimed the best language in Europe, while "Danish... total disaster." This might actually be useful for Americans to see, because some don't understand them to be two different languages. Just a few weeks ago, after mentioning to someone I know that I have Dutch family, he responded, "so is that why you speak Danish?" Uhh... no. I speak Dutch, not Danish. Two different languages.
