Message from the government of the Netherlands

Post by Lightningman_42 »

If any of you either enjoyed or hated Donald Trump's inauguration speech, then you might be interested to see this. It's a message from the government of the Netherlands, to Donald Trump. I thought it was a fascinating explanation as to why only the Netherlands should come second. The Netherlands...

...second.

Some of you may have seen it already, but I'd still be happy to hear what any of you think of it.

This makes me wonder how other countries around the world follow American politics. In America, we don't really follow the politics of other countries.

All of them, except maybe North Korea?
News around the entire world covers the U.S. elections because it affects the entire world. Kind of unfair that everybody can't vote in them huh? Europeans probably know more about U.S. politics than most U.S. citizens. A little sad...

Yeah, sure, you just keep believing those liberal media lies about the DPRK...

I don't believe any lies about DPRK. I just don't know if the news there covers the elections much. I wouldn't be that surprised if they did.
Since they are kind of cut off by the imperialist dogs' sanctions, it may be less interesting to them.

Just to clarify; it's not actually from the Dutch government, but a satire show. Basically the Dutch version of Last Week Tonight.

And yeah, we follow American politics closely.

North Korea have endorsed Bernie Sanders because he would be the most diplomatic and best candidate for ending imperialism, and also he is a self-styled Democratic Socialist. A Chinese Pro-DPRK media outlet, however, has endorsed Donald Trump, and this was reported by western media outlets as Korea themselves endorsing Trump. However, they would never do that, because Trump is a liberal imperialist capitalist piggy, like Clinton.

That's not too surprising. Can you link to your source? I'd like to read it. It's fine if it's not in English.

That is a little surprising, but I can see the preference for Trump over Clinton due to differences in international policy.
Can you link to the original? I'd like to read it.

 That's true, they probably do know more.

I think that there should be a political knowledge test for voting. You shouldn't need to be 18, and you shouldn't be able to vote just because you are 18.
