Hello dietinforeviewforum, welcome. You should make an intro post.
As to your question, diet is more important than exercise when it comes to losing weight. Excercise is still important though, you should be getting at least 90 minutes of moderate activity or 40 minutes of vigorous activity a day. Cardio might be best for losing weight AFAIK.
