What do you think is the best response you can give to somebody if he accuses you of being too bookish and nerdy?
You know, like somebody accused me here (my nickname there is FlatAssembler):

You could point out all the contributions of bookish / nerdy people that they enjoy or argue that a degree of education in a topic is necessary to discuss it, alluding to examples such as medicine and law.

I would respond with "thanks!"
If someone sees being bookish and nerdy as a negative, it's really not someone whose opinion I'd be concerned about.
You read and know too much!
I like picture books and ignorance, obviously I'm the superior person here on this debate forum!
Not worth arguing with, they probably wouldn't understand your reply anyway.

Ignore them and never speak to them again, unless they change their attitude.

The most ironic thing is that I think that's how I sounded back when I was a Flat-Earther.
