Well, this should be a doozy. From a quick search, Taubes seems to recommend LCHF, eggs & butter based on science (RCT)
I'm only 20 minutes into the podcast, but already highly triggered.

It's very unfortunate that Sam Harris gave this quack a platform. He is not equipped to challenge this nut's claims. Seems like he may be going the way of Ruben on this.

I'd prefer someone like Jack Norris over Greger. More importantly I think this is a very weird and inappropriate topic for Sam to cover.

Why?
Just seemed like a bad decision to have on this guy who goes against the consensus when Sam has said he doens't really know anything about the topic

Seconded. And I would have preferred Stephan Guyenet over Taubes.
