Daily Servings in Grams

Hey everyone! So one thing I have always disliked about the USDA dietary guidelines is that they typically put the serving sizes in cup amounts. But I prefer being as accurate as possible and it just annoys me that something like a serving of potatoes, according to to the USDA, is a cup of cubed or mashed potatoes. First of all, there is clearly more mass in a cup of mashed potatoes compared to a cup of cubed potatoes. And depending on the size of the cubes there will be a variations in the mass of those as well. I know, here in America, normal everyday people are not used to the metric system. But giving servings in grams would be so much more accurate, I feel. So all of this to ask, does anyone know if the USDA has a chart of there serving recommendations in grams? Or people from a country that uses the metric system, could you give me a link to your countries guidelines for servings of various foods? Thanks!!!
