A vegan gets bitten by a dog in foreign country

I don't know which one is more hillarious. The fact that a unaware vegan was bitten by a unincited random dog or a vegan was forced an animal product vaccination.
I guess such an attack on a more openly "animal lover" vegan instead of a "heallth wise" vegan would have been more of an eye opener.
I guess the dog also received a shot, of a different nature though.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this highly vegan-related matter

You're celebrating someone getting bit by a dog?
That's really classy.

Do people eat dogs in Bali? If not, I don't see the irony ;)

I never actually celebrated it, I said it was rather hillarious, do to the irony of this particular event. Being vegan for the animals and having a close call due to an animal. And then people just don't get it.

For all I know, they might... People eat dogs all around the world. They just don't recognize it nor it is a widely recognized practice. Perhaps more recently due to asian (chinise) diaspora all over the planet

There is some irony to it, I guess. A similar situation is batman's parents. I'm pretty sure they were rich philanthropists that spent lots of money on helping the poor. They got shot in an alley by a homeless guy who wanted cash and got startled.

Well, Batman is a fictional character while this happened in real life though the example is quite appropiate. Though the irony would have been stronger if the bitten vegan had been more on the "animal lover" side than on the "health/new age/holistic" side of veganism. Too bad most vegans won't see it though
