Does this interest any of you? For an atheist who considers himself rational he has made tons of uninformed statements about veganism over the years and he seems to love discussing the issue. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to do this on my own but would love to contribute if anyone wants to take the lead.

I don't really know anything about it, but I've heard about him, and this sounds like it could be a good idea. Anybody familiar with Rogan?

I hate this guy. He's a complete meathead idiot. Picking on an easy, popular target like vegans for cheap laughs from insecure males. He's fond of hunting etc. Would rather send him anthrax than an open letter. Just an obnoxious imbecile.

I think, if we're going to do another open letter, we may have bigger tofu to fry. Rogan surely isn't an intelligible voice on nutrition, ethics, etc., but I don't think many people take his criticism seriously. I'd be willing to help though, and don't really have any particular better candidate in mind (I don't follow many outspoken carnists, but I'll be on the lookout). I thought the letters were fun and educative to work on.

By the way, I'd like to offer my apologies on never finishing the Dillahunty video. It is much larger workload than I expected then (tens of hours rather than just twelve or so). I could still finish it by making the video simpler. I fear the big delay might largely kill the effect though.

Alexander, I don't think we should use that particular video (not sure if you were actually suggesting that). It's stand-up. Nobody appreciates seriously refuting arguments made in stand-up comedy.

The reason I thought Rogan is a good target is that I think there is a good chance he would respond and debate.

Some of that was pretty cringey (crap on somebody's head? He doesn't seem to understand the argument.). Also very poor answer to the plant pain question. HHV isn't that bright.
