State your preferred book

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

Yo.

This topic will be a very fun topic for it is to discuss your preferred book, the boom you like the most. My preferred books are the Harry Potter series. This is the story about a young boy, Harry Potter, who grows up with his abusive uncle and aunt because his parents are dead in a car crash, but he later finds out that he is a wizard. The story follows how he and his best friend, Hermione Granger, who is the most intelligent wizard, attempt to defeat the evil Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry Potter's parents and is an analogy for Hitler, as he wanted to eradicate all Muggles (people who are not magic) and Wizards who come from Muggle families. Which is your preferred book? Is it a fictional book or a factual book? What is it about? Tell.

It's hard to decide what my absolute favorite book is. I strongly prefer nonfiction over fiction though. "Sustainable energy without the hot air", which I am currently reading, is certainly up there. Other books I enjoyed a lot were "Why Nation Fail", "Our Final Invention", "Man's Search For Meaning", and "The Martian" (science fiction).

Fiction books? Then my favourite is probably Sophie's World, as it was the first philosophy book i read.

The entire Dark Tower series. Best ending of any series. Ever.

Depends on the mood (I can't possible name just one ! )
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for the nostalgia
The Perks of Being a Wallflower for giving me a sense of belonging (lame, I know)
and Ulysseys for continuing to blow my mind every time I try to make sense of this masterpiece
