Please list some you know of: that is, questions and answers to address common anti-vegan arguments.

From another thread:

Any and every argument against evolution you've heard is there.
Do you have something like that for the arguments against animal sentience?
I don't think there's anything as ultimate and authoritative a source. There seem to be a few attempts, though.

This one looks pretty substantial, but I can not vouch for the quality of its arguments:

I'll make a thread about it, because that's a good question.

Perhaps we could make a wiki out of it on this domain, like ironchariots.org.

I think that most of the basic questions are covered by Vegan Sidekick on his FAQ page. http://www.vegansidekick.com/guide It would be very useful to have some links to reliable data concerning veganism though. For example, how many proteins you have to feed an animal in order to have, say, on Kg of meat, and so on.

Plants tho!

I think that's the one I hate most, it makes me fume like nothing else. Normally sensible people will claim plants can "feel" too, because science recently proved it or whatever. It's been said by some people I otherwise respect, and I couldn't even tell if they were joking.

"They don't have a brain or a nervous system" is the stock answer, but it doesn't always convince them. I think every vegan should learn about the different types of learning and why the movement of Mimosa leaves doesn't indicate sentience (which your posts helped me with).

Also related... I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with some of the nonsense being peddled by the vegans in my city. I'll make a thread about that because I need some suggestions.
