The Vegan Activist is a youtuber, and he just posted a video on the best way to explain why you are vegan!
I thought this was such an amazing video! And I wanted to share it!

It's pretty well made. I was disappointed that he didn't offer more practical advice in it, though.

In terms of an elevator pitch, you want something simple, short, but that also doesn't sound too preachy or self righteous (which could put people off and cause them to not listen). He didn't do that well; the examples he gave were long and emotionally touching poetry, but not necessarily practical. You need a long time and extensive personal interaction to influence people that way, and what you want is to influence more people with less time so you can reach as many as possible,

Yep, it was a great video (but more geared for current vegans than for the average citizen). Personally I talk about the health benefits, follow it up with plus it helps animals and the environment (so a personal gain followed by things that do make you feel good as a person).
