Alright! Today's my birthday! And to celebrate, we're gonna sing the New Birthday Song! Yeah, the old one? The one that puts everyone to sleep? Kiss that snooze fest goodbye, cuz we're kickin' it in, with the new stuff! This is what the waitresses will be singing at the birthday parties from this day on.
This is.. Spirit Journey Formation Anniversary.

Dude, this is Zakk Wylde and Geddy Lee.
(don't get mad at me for these esoteric references)
But anyways, I was born at 2:37 AM, so I guess I'll wait a bit longer.

Re: The Tavern
I didn't get anything yet, since I didn't tell my parents in time and they didn't have enough to order the stuff from online. Plus, both of them had work today, so they wouldn't have been able to give them to me today anyways. We celebrated yesterday though.EquALLity wrote:Happy birthday.

Re: The Tavern
I just started reading this book, "The Catcher in the Rye" and I think it kinda sucks, anyone agree?

I loved that book.RedAppleGP wrote:I just started reading this book, "The Catcher in the Rye" and I think it kinda sucks, anyone agree?
You'll probably miss a lot of important themes/symbols/etc. If you just read it on your own time & not with school. Unless you really analyze it.

Re: The Tavern
Maybe watching the Crash Course literature videos on it would make it more interesting:

I liked the themes as described there. Never read the book though.

Re: The Tavern
Now I usually enjoy reading books, but Catcher in the Rye is kind of a chore for me. I think I'll stop reading it.
