Great work on the video, too! Let's hope it reaches him. Seems to me Sam is would be a bit harder to reach than Matt, but you guys might just do it.

Sam Harris talks more about veganism. Not much new information compared to the last podcast, but it sounds like he listened to some of the advice people sent him

Regarding Sam's veg move, there are some news on the horizon.
On his latest podcast:
[
timestamp: 30m14s]
https://soundcloud.com/samharrisorg/ama2-01#t=30:14
It looks like he has been
ovo-lacto(?)-vegetarian for four months and has
tentative vegan inclinations — not a lost cause(?).
Apparently his
blood work has comparatively worsen, on certain markers — he points to his
overconsumption of carbs.
When it comes to food, although he admits he's a bit of an ignoramus on the topic, he's still quite
dubious about being healthy on a vegan diet — what has he been reading?
Even though, at some level, he understands the
ethical pothole (i.e., chick culling) with the consumption of eggs, he's still on them like a raccoon on a
free-range broiler.
He also addresses the veg. community with questions regarding the
consumption of sea sentient beings.
Comments?

I think he has missed entirely the environmental dimension, which is also an ethical issue.
In terms purely of animal suffering, though, I would suppose fish from the ocean to be a greater source due to by catch, and the fact that fish tend to be left to suffocate or be crushed.
Line or spear caught fish killed more quickly may be another matter.

Interesting that he named it meat without misery, but the url says meat without murder.
I'm going to listen now, very curious.

Yes. I'd send a package of it to every single meat-eater I know labeled "No excuses."
I would probably try it, but I don't see myself eating it on a regular basis. I never much liked most meats.
A very good podcast indeed. I like how Sam basically asks the same questions as he would if he were a vegan. He seems to understand the problems with animal agriculture very well.
