How long as EquALLity been trying to convince you to care about politics? :D
I'm pretty sure she's still trying.

RedApplpGP wrote:Well I probably should have guessed that Chris gets juvenile when he loses to people much more intelligent than him.
How could you have guessed that?

Even if you could've, though, you're still not responsible for his actions. And his actions weren't bad for the forum, anyway.

RedApplpGP wrote:Yeah but to minor things. Like when he showed me the article about veganism causing mental health issues, I presented him the evidence that brimstone reported, an he admitted that he didn't even read the article. So he's one of those guys.
He didn't even care enough about the truth to read the article he was using as his entire argument? >.<
That demonstrates that he forms his opinions based on whatever he already wants to be true, not what the evidence leads to.
RedApplpGP wrote:I was trying to ask if he just didn't want to partake in discussion or if he just knew he lost.
Ah, I think he knew he was wrong, considering that at some parts he responded to some points I made and completely ignored others, and given his outrageous responses to you.
Er...
RedApplpGP wrote:well at least I can trust you guys.

RedApplpGP wrote:True. He probably just said it to make me look like the bad guy because he knew he was gettin' rekt.
Yeah, and to rationalize not addressing our arguments.
RedApplpGP wrote:Ok I have to admit something, and this is going to make me sound like a horrible person;
One of the reasons why i talked with Chris is because whenever I talked with him, I always felt smarter than him.
That doesn't make you sound like a horrible person. :P

Hm, I don't really know what to say about it, though. I guess catch yourself when you might be doing that and end those discussions? Or try to find out a possible underlying cause?

Oh by the way, and I can't believe I forgot to mention this, remember when Chris was giving examples of people with suicide in his life? Remember the example when he said some girl on the internet was threatening to kill herself? He lied about that. The part about she was threatening to do it and she was doing it for attention was true, but the part where Chris said he called the police and she got in trouble was a complete lie. He did threaten her to call the police, but it was just that, a threat. The most that happened is that he tweeted about the suicide to news networks, and people retweeted it. I got some pictures to prove it.

^How do you know he didn't call the police, but not tweet about it?

If he lied about it that's pretty messed up.

Yeah, he admitted he did it as a threat. I'll post a screenshot tomorrow since i don't feel like editing it now.

I never understood using anecdotal fallacies like that. It's like taking 5 grains of sand, studying them, then coming to a conclusion about all the beaches deserts and islands on the planet.
