Yes.

Yes.
Well, at least you can use this method to make it easier:

Welcome
Vegan food/nutrition (Recipes, health questions, etc.)
Vegan philosophy discussion (Debates, effective activism, etc)
Off topic serious (Religion/Atheism, metaphysics, politics, not directly related to veganism)
Off topic fun
Forum support.
I like this one better.

brimstoneSalad wrote: Mon Feb 13, 2017 1:58 am I'm wondering if health arguments aren't pretty closely linked, since in order to go vegan a common question is whether it can be healthy.
We could try separating them. I like the idea of health/food issues being in another subforum... but would there be enough posts to justify it?
I imagine the health section would be more about discussing practical nutritional/fitness issues. It can also include discussing nutritional science, as well as recipes, different vegan products, etc.
This may give those who are less interested in the rather theoretical discussions on ethics and comparative advocacy a good incentive to contribute to the forum too. Perhaps there aren't so many posts on this precisely because the forum may seem rather philosophical to some visitors, so giving them a clear option to talk about practical stuff could encourage them to do it more.

But I'd say let's leave it as it for now and see how it goes. We can always change it again later.

Sounds like it might be a good idea if we get enough posts like that.

Maybe we can revisit this later, in a couple months or so, and make a poll.
