They're slightly different things. But aside from that I do find the information listed on the website to be sensible and accurate. I don't think it's fear-mongering. I don't think it's reluctant. I think it's honest and a good position to hold.

I didn't say it was inaccurate or dishonest, did I? I accused it of being "adequate" and "mediocre".

Can you at least understand why I prefer the ADA's statement? The UK is similarly working with vegans to help ensure vegan health. The way something is worded means a lot.

I can see why you have your preference.

I will supply some context in saying that the Australian dietetics have come out and been completely in utterly scathing of various paleo style chefs and cookbooks, which gives them bonus points in my book :lol:

I didn't know that. Yes, that gives them some bonus point. Maybe Australians just aren't as diplomatic in their language as U.S. Americans... although it's hard to imagine.
