Don't be hostile, we're trying to help you. Or I was trying.fi0retheunic0rn wrote: IS THIS A JOKE?! I LIVE IN A FOOD DESERT. THE "NEAREST" VEGAN FRIENDLY BUSINESSES ARE ALL THE WAY IN DOWNTOWN NEW HAVEN. I'M F*CKED!
Like I said repeatedly, don't worry about it. If you can't find any companies like that, just buy what's available. Nobody can be 100% and stressing out over it and getting dramatic helps nobody.
Paint: Just don't buy tempera, which is made with eggs.
Companies test things on animals because they're legally required to. They're not just trying to be evil. This is a legal issue which requires tort reform. When you're old enough to vote, vote to fix this problem. You not buying their products isn't really helping.

I'd just like to apologize to...well, everyone about my attitude. I'm not trying to make excuses when I tell you I'm a new vegan and seeing the huge difference between pescatarian and vegan, well, for me it's been really stressful. I just can't believe how easy I had it; I feel like I'm a recovering slacker lol. I'm just shocked at how much more research I've been doing. It's strange. I've been...mean to pretty much everyone around me lately. I feel like a d*ck. Guys, just please forgive me and know that I'm willing to help you out with anything you want. You've helped me so much more than I might make it seem. Thank you.

Don't worry about it, everybody has a bad day now and then.
The important thing is just that you avoid the 99.9% of animal products that you can avoid. The rest has diminishing returns.
If you want to make up for the 0.1% that you can't avoid, just do some good stuff to balance out the scales. Learn about nutrition, and philosophy, and promote veganism to others in a rational and sensible way.
You can do a lot more good in life than harm with a little activism, on top of a low impact life.

I think Langers is safe but I'm not sure. I've found sites that say it's vegetarian and I've found sites that say it's not trustworthy.. I don't know who to believe, or what would make juice vegetarian but not vegan. Do people put eggs in fruit juice..?

I've never heard of that happening, and it seems highly unlikely.fi0retheunic0rn wrote:I think Langers is safe but I'm not sure.
