The mic is bought and paid for, but I am restarting the recording. The difference between the new and old mic is noticeable.

Sorry for the long time its taken me to record. needles to say my respect for theveganatheist has grown immensely. The microphone, in contrast with my old one, is great at picking up every noise in the house I share with 3-4 people. This means I need to record between other things in my suddenly incredibly busy life (year 12, relationships, and the previously mentioned family). The time at which I can record is therefore limited to nights few and far apart. I have spent half an hour recording and chewed through (according to the page count on the word document I am reading off of) 58% of the letter. I will try to edit and upload this file to sound cloud, drop box, or something similar tonight.

That's great. I was just recently wondering how you were doing on this.

Recording definitely is quite a task. Editing is even more so, cutting out all of the mistakes and splicing in corrections.
Sounds like you're coming along well. I for one am excited to hear what you have. I'm glad to offer feedback.

Do you have a coat closet or something you can hide in to record? If you surround yourself with cloth, it can help a lot. Also reduces echo and other ambient noise.

The audio has not finished being edited, but this copy uses a strong noise remover, which came out fairly well, although the recording is close to 20 mins I have only edited about 3-5 mins of it. Also I'm not sure if you will be able to get the link working, the audio did not work for me the first few times i tried it.

The link isn't working for me.

The length may be a problem; are you talking pretty slowly? It's harder to get people to sit through longer videos.

based on how much I have edited I would guess the end result will be about 15 mins maximum.

You could always pull an Extra Credits and speed the whole thing up. Your voice will sound higher pitch but that is in a way interesting to listen to.

We can always make it a two or three part thing again. We should notify the viewer that is has 3 parts right off the bat this time to avoid Matt only watching 1 video.

Pitch is not an issue as it can be changed to something that sounds natural. The issue is that sections can start to sound obviously sped up and the end result is fairly consistently annoying.

As for a 3 part video, this is not ideal. I would suggest not spiting the video if the recording ends up under 20 mins which seems to be a likely outcome.

Although the recording took me 30 mins much of this is being cut out because of mistakes or background noise. The longest video on TVA's channel (excluding debates) is about 20 mins.

Allright, 20 min sounds fine. Thanks again for doing this.

15 minutes should be OK for a single video. I was worried it might be much longer.

If needed it could be sped up a little. Seems promising so far, I look forward to it.
