We all have memories that cause us to hate based on ancient history. That is how stupid we all are.

I agree.

The Roman's killed Jesus, in this imaginary myth, with Jewish prodding, more for his politics than his claim to anything. The sign on the cross said, King of the Jews, not god.

Of course, religion and politics were closely associated at the time (Judea was literally a theocracy). By becoming a political dissident who advocated social justice for the disenfranchised, he became an enemy of the both the Romans and the ruling Jewish elite (The Pharisees and Sadducees). The Romans probably disliked his acts of civil disobedience (riding into Jerusalem on a donkey with an army of chanting followers) and the Sadducees despised his interpretation of the Law of Moses.

Most of this story is likely fictional, so we can’t know for sure whether Jesus literally claimed to be God or claimed to be related to God (or whether he even existed). But according to the biblical version, his criminal blasphemy charges and style of execution via Roman crucifixion make it clear he was an enemy of both the Romans and Jewish elite. I don’t think most Christians hate Jews, and the ones who do for this reason or any other reason are completely irrational. There were likely many political insurgents running around at the time who disagreed with this kind of political system that subjugated the poor and disenfranchised.

Whether or not a small group of rich politicians were “culpable” for a [potentially fictional] person's trial/execution is not a justification to hate an entire group of people today. Antisemitism (much like racism or sexism) is a scourge that has no rational moral basis.

This last is true.

I also agree that neither the religious or political hierarchies wanted a Rabbi to remind the people that poverty is a condition that is imposed by governments, then as now, threw the taxing system.

The history of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is pretty interesting, and I think its influence has a lot to do with the way Jews were viewed and treated in the USSR as well as the rest of the world, although the Jew-hate extends much farther back than that.

The history of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is pretty interesting, and I think its influence has a lot to do with the way Jews were viewed and treated in the USSR as well as the rest of the world, although the Jew-hate extends much farther back than that.

This place is a poor medium for jokes.

I am not sure where or why the hate for Jews started, but like many that are hated by other religions, they were persecuted by the mainstream for being better ideologies.

I do not think the mainstream is justified in their hate. Their immoral religions are quick to use inquisitions and jihads against their betters.
