I agree that dogs can eat almost anything, i noticed they enjoy fruits and vegs. Yet cats are not the same in this particular manner. since they do not eat everything, cats are pretentious and I have no clue if its about bad nutrition or something else, but met many cases in my country with some vegans which are actually *torturing* their pets. I think that felines are not suitable for vegan or vegetarian diets, but i could be wrong.

The vegan cat diets must be specially supplemented, otherwise they are not adequate. For example with Taurine, and Arachidonic acid (and of course B-12). Cats can also not be fed whole vegetable based diets, but also need isolate protein and fats. For example, tofu and oil (which are low in fiber, or without fiber). Too much fiber is hard for cats to tolerate. Too many carbohydrates also may pose a problem.
Cats also can not have too much magnesium or oxalates.

It's difficult to formulate a vegan cat food, but it's not impossible.

Not with the supplements. The luck come in with possible urinary issues. If your cat is predisposed to problems (maybe due to genetics), then he probably needs to eat a little bit of meat (although not totally meat). If your cat has no urinary tract issues, then he or she can eat totally vegan.
