Are you on mobile or something ? The point of my avatar is that there is always the middle (not the finger) :)) but the path of balance which is truth, not perspectives, we cannot consider some things without others, further, deeper, it is about connections and the greater image in nature.

Make a cylinder in 3d.
View it from the front, then view from the side. The front looks like a circle, and the side looks like a square (or rectangle, depending on the dimensions).

The point is that this cylinder can go through the round hole from one perspective, or a square hole from another. It's a play on the "round peg square hole" notion.

I really am getting sick of people who say there are many studies and so on to combat veganism and vegetarian diets. but yet do not provide sources or links to support their claims..

I know what you mean, it's very frustrating. Carnists are just trying to negate vegan arguments by any dishonest means they can, because it makes them feel better about their behavior. It comes from cognitive dissonance.

It was the same during abolition of slavery -- people asserting that the economy would collapse without slavery, etc. without evidence.
And it's the same with religion too -- people just appeal to vague authorities to support themselves, but can't actually be bothered to argue because they're so obviously wrong. They want to keep their distance from actual discussion.

Yeah, I understood the message, I just didn't see how the cylinder could look like a square.

I see that it can kind of look like a square/rectangle from certain angles, but you can pretty much still see the curves... :P
But I guess that's just petty.

You can see the curves because of perspective, but in terms of the intersection with a plane (with the square hole), it can pass through that hole perfectly.
The perfect isometric projection from that angle could be square.

It's a kind of clever illustration, but I don't really agree with the meaning, since there are views that are simply false (not everybody is right from a different perspective -- and it's kind of implying that everybody has a truth and they're all right).

You are right, of course. Tao taught me this anyway, its the way things are, there is no place for extreme views, and religion itself fail when it comes to this such a view. Because there is no place for perspectives when it comes for truth. :)
