I think that the messages promoted by some Disney movies are quite bad, especially in The Little Mermaid and Sleeping Beauty.

The Little Mermaid:
A foolish young mermaid becomes infatuated with a human man whom she knows nothing about, and so she makes a deal with an evil ocean-villain to become human, without considering any evil side-effects that the evil ocean-villain (I don't know her name) might work into the spell. Essentially, the movie's main character "falls in love" at first sight and decides to get some body modifications to please a man whom she knows nothing about. She just assumes that it's her obligation to please her man with body modifications, and that he cannot possibly appreciate her mermaid form. I wish that she had been a Little Smarter Mermaid. Why not seek out a nice vegan merman who appreciates her as she is? Before any of y'all make snappy remarks about vegan merpeople...
...yes, merpeople can be vegan too! Don't forget that seaweed is a good source of Omega-3 fatty-acids! No need for the Little Mermaid to kill and eat her little fishy-friends!

Sleeping Beauty:
Kissing a lady in a coma without consent? To make her yours? Magical kissing causing a happily-ever-after ending!? Unrealistic much? Need I say more?

Hahaha!! What an incredibly easy-to-answer question! Obviously the new Star Wars movie! Finn and Rey were my top two favorite characters! I also liked Poe Dameron and BB-8. Does anyone know how BB-8 moves, and manages to balance that little dome-head on top of a soccerball-body? Something involving magnets and gyroscopes, I'd imagine. The movie team must have had some really brilliant robotics engineers!
...Oh yeah, and to answer your previous question, yes I like Disney 'cuz without them buying Lucasfilm we might never have gotten more Star Wars movies (which is a future too terrible to imagine)! Also, Star Wars the Force Awakens was a pretty damn f#@&ing awesome movie! Good job, Disney!

The Lion King! No magic (well, except for the talking animals), epic, the love story is nice and less central to the plot, tragic things actually do happen... It's like Hamlet with animals and a happy ending.

Alright, The Little Mermaid isn't really as bad as you make it out to be.
Sure, the love isn't really substantive, but that's how it is in all these types of movies. It doesn't make TLM uniquely bad.

And it's not really that she doesn't think that he'll accept her as a mermaid, it's that she can't be with him if she's stuck in the ocean. Talk about a LDR.
Also, it's definitely not just because she wants to be with the prince that she got body modifications. She was fascinated by a new world (note her huge collection of trinkets) and wanted to explore and learn about it.

Hahaha, the new Star Wars film... I think Red was talking about traditional Disney movies.
Liked the new SW though.

Oh, I didn't think of The Lion King. I actually like that one (not just the lesser of evils).

Well I don't really care about the realism since this is in a fantasy, unless you're implying that people apply this to life. Regardless, Aurora was about 15-16 years old.. Pedophile much? Oh wait that's Snow White; Similar case, was 14 instead ≧☉_☉≦.

While I'm at it I might as well answer my own questions.
1. Yes. They are pretty much the norm for modern animated cinema. Sure there's a piece of shit here and there, but for the most part, they have a lot of memorable classics. The characters are awesome and relatable, and I can't really hate the more popular ones to be frank.
2. I pretty much like 'em all, except for the sequels and Chicken Little. If I had to pick, it's be The Nightmare Before Christmas, Hercules, Alice in Wonderland, and The Little Mermaid (it's a guilty pleasure I'll admit ).
3. Kingdom Hearts bizotch

I will admit that they get into relationships too quickly, and sometimes they focus the whole movie on that, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad.

That could be too. Although in peter pan, the thing about fairies may be more apt, in terms of it condoning faith based belief and magical thinking.

Oh yeah, for my School Spirit week, we MIGHT be dressing up as Disney characters (yeah our school loves Disney). I was thinking about who i should be. I initially wanted to go for the ironic look (like Tinkerbell), or the "Look at me I don't have any money" look (like Barrel). But at the same time it'll be pretentious, like "Fuck yeah we can do this shit at this school and you can't", and it get's REALLY pretentious when I'm going to be seeing boyfriends and girlfriends dressing up like Aladdin and Jasmine, or you got a Senior and a Freshman going as Geppetto and Pinocchio. That shit kinda drives me insane, to say the least.
