And what do they do with the cows when they get older and don't make milk anymore?
She keeps the cows until they die. By the way, I tried the Trader Joe's ice cream and it's pretty good. I think I'm vegan now. Not sure. Should I change my profile or not? I don't know. I think I'm having a slight crisis

I'm glad you liked the TJ vegan ice cream.
That's awesome!

Welcome to the forums! I'm pretty sure free-range egg farms are just slightly bigger factory farms.
Sorbet ice cream is most of the time vegan, and it's lower in fat. You could try that!

Glad to hear that you like it. Don't forget to try TJ's Mango Sorbet (less fat; maybe none). It still has a lot of sugar, although I personally don't eat ice cream to be healthy anyways.

Hello Marie, I am new too. I am atheist and vegan. I liked your funny story about how you thought nobody actually believed their religion. It would be so awesome if the world was actually like that. I read that you would be vegan except for ice cream and I know that you know there are vegan ice cream alternatives out there. Where I'm from vegan ice cream is expensive, you get a little container for a high price so I make my own. It's easy. buy bananas, peel them, slice, put on a plate in the freezer for a few hours, then blend in any blender doesn't have to be an expensive vitamix or food processor.
Then I saw that you changed your status and said you might be vegan. Its okay you're not having a crisis. You're new to veganism so its okay. I started off as a pescatarian before going vegan and I still had a lot to learn (and still do) as a vegan.
Anyways, welcome to the forum Marie!
