Aye possibly, either way great to have big policy proposals in opposition that would shake up the country in favor of low and middle income families, just chilling and getting more appealing by the day while conservatives get everything wrong.

I'm not entirely sure of the political climate in the UK (Although the Conservative party over there is probably about the same on the political spectrum as the Democratic party), but I'm sure Corbyn would be able to help the working class (does he support a UBI? that would go further than in eliminating poverty than establishing a higher minimum wage), and he seems to support free trade.NonZeroSum wrote: ↑Thu Jun 27, 2019 4:55 am Aye possibly, either way great to have big policy proposals in opposition that would shake up the country in favor of low and middle income families, just chilling and getting more appealing by the day while conservatives get everything wrong.
If Corbyn were to become Prime Minister, would he be able to implement DemSoc01? It would be awesome if he were to try experimenting it in a small town (maybe with a population less than 10,000, like the City of London).
My only real problem with Corbyn is that he dabbles in a little alternative medicine; He had reflexology treatment (one form of alt med explicitly addressed on Penn and Teller Bullshit!), and said that homeopathy works for some people. Does he want the NHS to incorporate alternative medicine? He doesn't seem to be as fervent of a supporter as Sanders is, and I do think he can change his mind; He was a strong anti-nuclear advocate for many years, and now he supports nuclear energy, (which is pretty amazing), which shows that he is able to change his mind for the better.
Learning never exhausts the mind.

Re: Jeremy Corbyn- Does He Have A Chance?
I'd say the Democratic Party are more similar to the Liberal Democrats
The shadow chancellor John McDonnell has stated that Labour will trial UBI if they gain power.but I'm sure Corbyn would be able to help the working class (does he support a UBI? that would go further than in eliminating poverty than establishing a higher minimum wage),
He does, and his recent announcement that he supports a second referendum and that he would back remaining in the EU will help free trade.and he seems to support free trade.
I don't think it would be a priority, at least not in the short term.If Corbyn were to become Prime Minister, would he be able to implement DemSoc01? It would be awesome if he were to try experimenting it in a small town (maybe with a population less than 10,000, like the City of London).
That is troubling, but I don't think he has any plans to put government funds into reflexology treatment. My only real problem with Corbyn is that he dabbles in a little alternative medicine; He had reflexology treatment (one form of alt med explicitly addressed on Penn and Teller Bullshit!),
It does work as a form of placebo. If he meant anything more than that, then I'd take issue with him.and said that homeopathy works for some people.
I don't think he does.Does he want the NHS to incorporate alternative medicine?
