8 values

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

This is a fun test that will test your 8 values:
https://8values.github.io/

Mine are:
Socialist (82.9% Equality, 17.1% Markets)
Internationalist (23.9% Nation, 76.1% World)
Liberal (68.1% Liberty, 31.9% Authority)
Very Progressive (14.7% Tradition, 85.3% Progress)

This makes me a Libertarian Socialist.

Very nice graphical display. It's interesting to see it branching out more from the two dimensional political tests.

Yeah, it's nice and colorful, and it gives you all the information you need. The standard Political Compass is more straightforward, and doesn't really give you an estimate on what your stances are on certain things.

I decided to take the test again, I stayed largely the same.

I agree. What is so funny? I had generally expected (Right-wing) Libertarians to support a free market and a peaceful foreign policy.

The fact that you surmise I'm right wing, for one.

The far right is more concerning than the far left. At least the leftist are more open about their terrible choices, the far right pretends to support smaller government, but they increase the size of government every election cycle that they win. They're both just...terrible. Anyone who sides with either one of them should feel bad about themselves. Of course, both sides have their positives.....
