This song has an excellent rhythm, and I definitely could listen to it again. (And likely will) But it bugs me when I can't comprehend lyrics. (The lyrical part was like me listening to fluent Spanish speakers talk. I caught a few words, but I couldn't translate.) But overall, I did find myself wanting to air drum along. I really enjoyed this one, as it is still playing in my head, and I listened to it twice. (and now a third time, since I finished my post)

Double post, but seriously, if you like metal and don't like the above, I'm curious to know why. It's not metal, but it has a sound that produces emotions that lead to metal.

Eh not a fan of this kind of music. Too slow and lacks substance. Everyone in the comments seem to think it's the best song ever.

There's not much of interest in this song to me. It's good but really average. The riffs don't stand out, I mean in terms of the mixing they're clear as day, but they just don't hit me nor elicit many feelings. The vocals do hit me better, they have some good catchy melodies and a tone which works with the vibe of the whole song, not very good though, I just liked it more than the guitars. Nothing bad about this song if you analyze it piece by piece, but as a whole it does little for me. If I feel in the mood for this kind of style I'd rather listen to Blue Oyster Cult's darker material, though I'm not a huge fan of this style regardless. 6/10

Well, judging by most of your songs this must be the equivalent of a "slow song" for most people. ;)

It seems like a blend of Metallica, Pink Floyd, and System of a Down. I checked out some of their other songs as well...not bad. (considering my eclectic tastes) I loved it. They don't have a ton of views, so I'm guessing their new. The only criticism I have is I wish it was just a tad bit harder. Just a bit. I'll definitely share it and check out more.

Last song reminded me of System of a Down, so that's what I'm sharing. Mainstream(ish). This song hasn't been on radio in most places, though.

The concept isn't my thing, but it seemed like they put a good amount of work into executing it how they saw fit. Having those rapid vocals may be impressive in a way, I sometimes like Serj's vocals but I didn't like them this time, though they were still impressive. Definitely a weird song, not exactly too weird either, just not my thing personally. 4/10

I loved the instrumentals on this. I think they hit it dead on for a decent head banging, in a gentle way, vibe that I love. The only criticism I have is the lead singer seemed a bit "light" ( he didn't seem to hit the "hard" rock level I personally enjoy until the last minute of the song, when he picked it up a bit..)

I didn't mind the first 5FDP song I heard back in 2010, I actually liked it, but every other song I've heard since has really not been my style. Although that one dealing with war was pretty decent. Probably going to sound harsh here, but it sounds like overproduced commercial hard rock that would fit well alongside Nickleback in some sports video game's soundtrack. I also, find it weird how the band seems to take itself so seriously with songs like "Fake" calling out "commercial" music artists or whatever. It just seems like they don't have a self-conscience.

I mean, I like music that is pretentious (like in a fantasy sort of cheesy over-the-top way.) And I like my share of really really polished music, but this particular style in this way is really not something I like. It doesn't help that these songs get played on plug.dj a lot, lol. Hearing them once, it's passable, but hearing 5FDP songs again and again when you're not into it is something I wish I hadn't experienced.

They do obviously put work into their music, so if it's a style you like, then it makes sense that them being proficient at the style would make someone else a fan. It's just not something I could ever get into. I would say on a more unbiased level the song in question may be a seven out of ten if I was really in the right mood for it, but with how my tastes are and how tired I am of them, it's got to be a three out of ten right now.
