You'll be pleased to know that I am going to watch the entirety of this. I am 4 minutes 26 seconds in now so far and if the man doesn't bring up the fact that the pipe Garfield is smoking is in fact not a pipe but a representation of a pipe then I will be very disappointed!
Oh, you'll see. I've seen this video like 4 times.
I genuinely can't tell whether you are joking or not. I'm actually edging to thinking you're being serious, as you and I are both odd fellows (although I must say, we steam a good ham) and I have watched crazier things than this several times.
Okay, so, I'm 22 minutes 37 seconds in. When the guy talking pointed out that the pipe was not a pipe, my eyes lit up, but to my disappointment, there was no mention of Rene Magritte (Jim Davis' mentor presumably) or his "Treachery of Images". If it doesn't come up, wasted opportunity!
He has begun talking about foot binding, which I have heard about.
The optimistic side of me thinks that he is going somewhere with this, yet the more cynical part of me reckons that he is just going to blabber on about nothing and go nowhere and reach a conclusion that will just leave me puzzled and confused. I recognize that if he does this, it will be a parody of those pretentious critics of Modern "Art" who just witter on about rubbishy pieces of paintings that are mere literal scribbles and/or paint splatter on a canvas. However, they could do something like that in less than an hour.
This better be good, Red.
