Macron wins! What now for France?

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

I got drunk on Liberal tears after the 2016 U.S. election so it's nice to have some Conservative tears to balance things out.

Macron doesn't seem that bad. I've said some pretty nasty things about him, but that was just either to try and persuade people to vote Hamon, or if it was after the first round, I was just pissed that Hamon didn't get it.

Here is what we must do: We must campaign for Macron to make BENOIT HAMON the FRENCH PRIME MINISTER.

I WANT YOU to take to social media and use the #hashtag: #HAMON4PM!

HAMON HAMON HAMON!

C'est la lutte finale
Groupons-nous, et demain
L'Internationale
Sera le genre humain!

Comrades, the time for Hamon is now!

What are Hamon's political positions, and what power would he wield as PM?

The Prime Minister can make decisions but they are subject to oversight.

Hamon is a socialist, he wants to legalize weed and euthanasia and give every French citizen a basic income.

Furthermore, he may in fact be the second coming of Jesus Christ, another man hated and reviled by the authorities for speaking the truth.

That's pretty good. What's the bad stuff? Nobody's perfect. Or, at least I've never encountered a politician who was.

His party is anti-GMO. I don't know if he is, but his party is.

He is also anti-North Korea, but I'm sure you agree with him on that.

Zero empathy for animals. He has already said that he will always take the side of hunters and breeders over animal rights activists. Brigitte Bardot urged voters to vote Le Pen in order to save animals.

Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

I am very surprised. Can I see a source for this?

We were talking about Hamon, not Macron.

Nice. So we know he's a classic libertarian who opposes both nuclear power and animal rights. What else?
