Plato's Idealism philosophy
”All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force..We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.” ~ Max Planck - Quantum Theory and Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918.

Re: Plato's Idealism philosophy
I like this channel a lot! Thank you for getting me back into watching their videos!
I think Plato's Allegory of the Cave is an interesting concept. While I understand that I lack evidence to support whether or not I am real, I assume myself to be real because it is more practical, convenient, and productive. In addition to that, I don't think I have any motive or reason to assume otherwise.

I think I might have poorly articulated my position, so let me elaborate. I don't deny the possibility that I might not exist, but I don't consider it often because its unproductive and not practical.Unknownfromheaven wrote:Your welcome CIrion...i respect your view and it does have reason..yet i am that type of person who questions everything.
Unfortunately I have not. My dreams, when I have any, are pretty dull when compared to other people's.I will give you an example. Had you ever had a dream sleeping and having a dream, within a dream !?
