Re: Dose god have free will
What's the point of a video if it's just a slide show without audio?
It would be better just to post the text, so we can quote it and respond to it.
There are different views and definitions of 'god'; even the Judeo-Christian biblical Abrahamic god YHWH/Jehovah
Some hold that it does, and some that it doesn't have free will.
Of course you can't have (even the illusion of) free will if you already know what you're going to do. But in the philosophical absolute/theological sense, free will is also not a coherent concept (only a practical one), for humans or any other beings in the universe.

Re: Dose god have free will
No god does not have free will. If he did have free will then he wouldn't have needed to "finely tune" (as many people say) the universe. The only time you need to finely tune something is if you have limitations on the product you are creating. Cars are finely tuned to do specific things. Miles per gallon, speed, can it park itself, or even drive itself. The car manufacturer gives instructions on how to build and tune the car the way they need it. They aren't allowed to tune the car outside of those limitations or instructions they are given.
So if you believe in god and a " finely tuned " universe, then my belief is that God has a "God" so to speak, and that is who gave him the instructions.
Hopefully that made sense lol

Re: Dose god have free will
This is my hypothesis:
If we take into account that nothing within the universe has free will, and God supposedly exists within the universe, then no, he does not have free will. But that's just supposing nothing within the universe has free will, and, from a molecular standpoint it's true, we can't decide what happens to our bodies. We work according to certain patterns.
For example: A homosexual cannot decide to be straight, and a straight cannot decide to be homosexual.
