Hey, vegan travelers. I'm working on a news article on the airlines with the best vegan meals. I'd love to get your opinion on which airline served you the best vegan meal you've had in-flight. Thanks!

Interesting question.
It's hard to rank bad food, since pretty much all airplane food is famously bad vegan or not. Nothing stands out to me as actually good or memorable, I'm sorry.
The only thing that's memorable is when it's not vegan (like they put yogurt or something on the plate)... that's usually pretty easy to solve by giving it to somebody else though.

I prefer flights that do not serve meals at all, because then I don't have to pay for something I don't want (bundled in the ticket price).

I'm sorry I'm not a very good person to answer this, but I hope that helps?

I recently visited China with Cathay Pacific and there vegan menu was really good. They even had a non-dairy creamer for my coffee :)
However all airlines at the moment do not have oat or soy milk i.e. I traveled via United Airlines from UK to San Fran and they didn't have any milk for my hot drink. The staff on the flight were so uneducated, they though vegetarian and vegan meals were the same. They gave me a cheese sandwich and said it's okay to eat!!

Thanks for the responses.

Everything helps even if you don't have a favorite, even if only for additional data.

United has been the worst to date, but I've found that people in general have no idea what the difference between a vegetarian and vegan is. I had one flight attendant on a Delta flight tell me his is a vegetarian who eats fish.
