Meat eater vs. Vegan debate welcome, but please keep it within debate topics.
Greger has some detailed explanations of the mechanisms. I would keep giving it to your dogs, but I would not take carnitine. Creatine, however, is probably harmless (as long as it's not heated).
Also why I wouldn't supplement lecithin unless you're low on choline. Enough is important, but going over that is not really helpful as far as I can tell; nootropic evidence isn't that strong and it's not worth the risk based on stronger evidence of contribution to heart disease.

The reason I stopped taking creatine many years ago is that it made me cramp during athletic competition.
Could be a coincidence, or it could be you have side effects from it. How much were you taking? That could be one of the rare side effects (I haven't read into reported side effects much).

Not rare at all. This is a very common side effect and the reason endurance athletes avoid it. I used to take a teaspoon per day.
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

cramping from creatine has to do with the inbalance of water and electrolytes so increase your electrolytes (potassium and sodium) whenever you increase water intake esspecially with creatine
Using it as a nootropic, or even for strength training, that likely would not be an issue since you're not doing as much vigorous activity and sweating/otherwise losing water through exercise. It makes sense this would occur for endurance athletes.
