Help

Post by VegLover »

So, since I became vegan in April, I saw great benefits initially. I dropped 7 pounds like nothing and continued to lose until one day it came to a halt and I picked up all the weight and then some in what seemed like overnight. Since then, I have not lost anything and feel like I'm getting fheavier and fatter. I don't get it! I'm super frustrated and I am unsure what the sticking point is. I am conscious of what I eat and how it's prepared. Is anyone aware of what might be attributing to this problem?

Well, that's quite odd.. It really depends on what exactly you were eating, not every vegan diet is really healthy. Maybe your body is just getting used to the new diet. It takes a while for your body to balance out. Good luck. :D

Can you summarize what you're eating? Give the food and amounts for a day or two, and we can give you some feedback.

Weight gain is caused by a surplus in calories, typically. I hope you're not following "raw til 4" or one of those diets (they are a recipe for weight gain).

A healthy vegan diet is based mainly around beans, whole grains, and some veggies, not huge amounts of fruit or rice.
