Hey all,
I just got my blood test results back, and my vitamin D levels were really low at 6 ng/mL... I spent all winter almost completely indoors, so I am vitamin D deficient now... :'(
I'm looking around for vegan vitamin D3 (cholecarciferol) supplements, but it's quite confusing. Some sites claim D3 can only be obtained from animal sources, others claim lichen, some claim to sell vegan supplements, but others claim they're either D2 (ergocarciferol) or lying about being vegan...
If you know any recommendation, any help is appreciated.

Re: Vegan D3 supplement
D2 is fine for maintenance, but D3 may be a good idea short term to get your levels up.
Vitashine has been certified vegan (from lichens) and is chemically legitimate D3.
