Meat eater vs. Vegan debate welcome, but please keep it within debate topics.
There is a trend on facebook now, even on the page of my atheist friends who eat meat,, making fun of vegans and vegetarians with pictures of (carrots or salads) saying that they feel pain just like animals and thus we are as just guilty as them....even if it started as a joke (a mock) i would say, it turned into serious discussions.. i explained there is a difference between these facts according to science..they seem to not notice the main difference when it comes to sentience.
I tend to believe that even some people have a critical thinking..they are not using the same critical views when it comes to their own habbits..i know we all have a selfish gene but when our selfish needs become greater than the truth it is ignorance.
Here are the links they provided me ...with..
the first ”joke” translation -” this salad died only because you chose to be a vegetarian, have a heart...eat a stone..”
”All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force..We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.” ~ Max Planck - Quantum Theory and Nobel Prize in Physics in 1918.
