As to your video, I could only watch a minute or two since it was very long. I suggest you speed it up and re-upload. Since you speak slowly, it wouldn't be hard to speed it up 1.5 - 2x to get it to an hour, then the user could choose to double playback speed (or not) and watch it much more quickly.

Self-promotion of your youtube channel is not necessarily going to be seen as non-commercial.
I don't know if you're monetizing or not -- and it's fine if you are -- but youtube has the ability to monetize, and youtube traffic has inherent monetary value that you could exploit at any time in the future after spamming your links across the internet to create subscribers and improve your search ranking.
The current commercial nature of your post is irrelevant.

If you're here to participate, that's great. You need to follow the rules, however.
ANY linking to your own content, whether for school, a personal project, or a commercial link of yours is typically forbidden until you have participated in the community and shown you are not just here to drive by and spam.
We'll usually allow people to link to their channels or blogs in an INTRODUCTION post, since it's relative information to participating in the community.
But in your case I'm going to have to make a judgement call here based on your behavior and say no.

Your video cooking series looks like it has promise. I hope you take my advice about speeding it up, since it will help you a lot -- and your series may help a lot of people learn how to cook.

Whether it's a cooking show or penis enlargement, you posted the self promoting link as your first post. That's rude. There are very few forums that would allow that, and those forums are mostly flooded with spam.

I watched a minute of it because, despite your violating forum rules, I wanted to give you some feedback as a new member and encourage you to participate. I think it's good that you posted a video like this on youtube, even if it's not a series you're working on.

If you have something to say, then just say it. Aside from link spamming (and a few other limited exceptions), this is mostly a free speech zone -- in case you haven't noticed based on the fact you haven't been banned.

Speed up your video and re-render it, or don't. Right now it's too slow, so it's hard to watch all of your recipes. If you doubled the speed I could watch it in 30 minutes (with 2x playback).
I like that you used a microwave; that's actually really helpful, and it's good that you mentioned how it's not dangerous (there's a lot of pseudoscience that's anti-microwave out there).

I've signed up to other vegan forums and posted this. I didn't get an admin using the forum as his personal troll hole. People seemed to see that the video was selfless and I made it in good faith and that I was posting it in good faith. You're an EDP so you have a warped familiarity with the world, so you won't believe I posted this right after the confirmation email at the bigger vegan forums. All the responses were positive.
I'm glad I've had a repelled interaction since you are into being pretentious and indulgent like too many vegans. You are the type to join a cause or a group cause you are looking for trouble. It's pretty much everything wrong with veganism aside from the shit food vegans promote. I would contrast this with what I think veganism should be but I don't want to elude to my video.
