The good side of eating meat

Post by Fluttershy »

Hello, I know meat is bad but aside from the taste is there anything else that is good or everything else is only bad?

For people in third world countries, meat contains important vitamins and nutrients that they couldn't otherwise get, because they don't have access to many healthy vegetable foods. E.g. in some parts of Africa.

For people in first world countries, we can get everything from healthy year-round vegetables conveniently from a grocery store, and B-12 vitamins (which are better than meat as a source of B-12 too).

Basically, the benefit is to people in places without modern agriculture and other food infrastructure, This was also true for people who lived hundreds of years ago.
