Remove eggchickens

Post by RagingUndead »

So I know most of the vegans are vegans because there are things like eggchickens and milkcows. With this I mean chickens that are espacially made for brewing eggs : so they get put in a small room where they can't move around properly and they are so stressed out they hurt the ones besides them and themselves etc. What if those things were gone and they were chickens that for example my mom's co-worker has like chickens that she has for pet. The eggs ofcourse won't be able to hatch because no man chickens ( can't find the right name for it ) . would you eat them and ofcourse this also with cows and bee's etc. Would you drink milk eat eggs and put some honey in your tee since I imagined before you weren't vegans. And ofcourse like the taste of it

I would not eat them because they are unhealthy and on a scale as we have today, environmentally dangerous. However, if this wasn't a massive operation, I would not object to it on moral or environmental grounds.

I think if they are pet chickens that are lovingly cared for like you would a dog, i don't see too much of a problem with eating the eggs that show up. I'm not sure how you could milk a cow without it being pretty invasive though. Especially if pregnancy is required.
