Wiki Permission (questions?)

Post by PsYcHo » Sun Nov 26, 2017 11:34 pm

Wait, we aren't getting paid millions of dollars to use our posts we posted for free??!!

O.k then.

Full permission is granted to use any of PsYcHo's posts on the PhilosophicalVegan page for the philosophical vegan wiki , as long as, and up to the point upon which the page becomes a profitable venture.

Until such time as the page (PhiloshophicalVegan) becomes a profitable venture, all of PsYcHo's posts my be used either in entirety or edited (omissions only) as deemed necessary by the administrator of the page.

If at some point PhilosophicalVegan becomes a profitable venture, all posts by PsYcHo past the date which PhilosophicalVegan becomes a profitable venture, all agreements are terminated until renegotiations are settled in a manner deemed satisfactory by both PsYcHo and PhilosophicalVegan's controlling partners.
:twisted:

(Permission granted, unless you start making money off the page; then you need additional permission. ;) )

We have no way to keep track of what came from where to the point we can avoid adding words to the sentence/paragraph clipped. Stuff in Wikis gets all mixed up because there are a bunch of editors and no individual attribution.

If limited by that, we'd just quote (in which case it'd be fair use anyway) ;)

If we get a lot of traffic and there's demand for it, we might put up t-shirts or something, or add an affiliate if tofurky wanted to sponsor content or something, but I'm sure this site will never rake in the dough (no sites like this on the net make very much money at all; even happycow can barely afford responsive servers, their pages are incredibly slow).

But... if we found an additional revenue stream we wouldn't be able to keep track of what came from who and remove things.

Addendum to PsYcHo's clause;

All of PsYcHo's posts are consented to be used as posted, or edited (omissions only ;) ) until such time as PhilosophicalVegan accrues a gross profit of upwards of 1 Million (US) dollars a year.

If ya'll start making over a million a year, I want in. :lol: Until then, yeah, full permission to use all of my posts.
