From the FAQ:
To add a signature to a post you must first create one via your User Control Panel. Once created, you can check the Attach a signature box on the posting form to add your signature. You can also add a signature by default to all your posts by checking the appropriate radio button in the User Control Panel. If you do so, you can still prevent a signature being added to individual posts by un-checking the add signature box within the posting form.
I've looked all over my user control panel and I can't find anything that refers to a "signature". I've never heard of a "radio" button. I know what I "button" is in Internet lexicon, but I've never heard of it qualified by the word "radio".

Re: I can't find a signature button
P.S.---I've easily added default signatures to my posts on other forums, so I'm not a total incompetent at it.

Re: I can't find a signature button
I think you need a few more posts to be able to add a signature. Wait till you have 25 posts, mkay?

Re: I can't find a signature button
I can confirm you only get a signature at or after 25 posts. This is to discourage people from spamming, since you're allowed to have a link in your signature to your blog/or whatever.

Re: I can't find a signature button
Okay. Thank you. Maybe the FAQ should be amended to reflect that.

Re: I can't find a signature button
Unfortunately that can't be changed easily, it's part of "phpBB" forums.James N. Dawson wrote:Okay. Thank you. Maybe the FAQ should be amended to reflect that.
There is a mod which allows admins to change the FAQ:

I'm not sure if there's a more recent version.
We may be able to install that at some point, but it's not an easy task either.
I don't know why that functionality isn't standard. It's silly to have to go into files on the server to change something like this. Just a problem with the software design.
