Greetings from South Australia

Post by persea punk »

Hi Friends

Warm greetings from summery South Australia. I can't believe I haven't found this site sooner!! I actually did a search for 'Vegan Atheism' as I tend to like listening to Irreligiosophy, cognitive dissonance , imaginary friends podcast etc and while I agree with many sentiments I find it crappy that these folks talk about gorging on meat, dairy and buying shit from corporate stores. It's not that I won't listen to these shows but I feel like veganism and atheism are obviously intrinsically connected. I wish not to enslave my mind, my free will with religion, so why would I wish enslavement upon fellow sentient beings.

I just wanted to say hi, not sure how much time I can spend on here as it's summer and that means loads of gardening, beach going and outside time! Either way, all the best to you my fellow vegan atheists!

cheers

Welcome Persea Punk. How common is veganism and atheism where you live?
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Hi Persea, welcome!

Hope you enjoy your summer, and come chat with us in the fall. :)
I'll try to remember to send you a reminder to come back around once the sunny days are gone.
