am an atheist that lives in a very religious place, and i feel alone many times, i would like to correspond with people that have the same skepticism as i do, try as i may, i just can not bring my self to believe in a secular cult.

Welcome!

How is veganism viewed where you live?

Cult I understand, religions can be cult-like, and they pretty much all start out that way and given the behavior of many it may be a fair charge.

But "Secular"?
secular
[ ˈsekyələr ]
adjective
adjective: secular
1. denoting attitudes, activities, or other things that have no religious or spiritual basis: Contrasted with sacred.
"secular buildings"
synonyms: nonreligious · areligious · lay · temporal · worldly · earthly · More
A secular cult would be like Ayn's Randroids. Or another political or pseudophilosophical personality cult.

I don't know what you were getting at. :)

Yeah, secular is the opposite of religious pretty much.
