Hello from Corpus Christi

Post by TerryMulhern »

Hi guys,

I'm Terry, philosophy nerd from Corpus Christi, TX. I moved here a couple of years ago from Melbourne. Looking for new perspectives and opportunities in the US.
Glad to join the community and nice to meet you all.

Welcome Terry,

What are your thoughts about veganism? Have you considered making the transition?
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Hi Jebus,

Yeah, actually, I'm thinking about it. Not sure what to start with though, as I became a vegetarian not so long ago.

Hi there,

Actually, not a bright story to tell.. My wife died three months ago (diagnosed with breast cancer). She was a vegan and very supportive of any kind of suchlike communities. She was trying to make me go veg too, but I refused all the time.. and then it happened.. and here I am..

That's very touching, thank you for sharing. You're really honoring her memory. She sounds like she was an amazing person, I'm sorry the world lost her.
