Welcome. You came to the right place. Is veganism growing in Pittsburgh?
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

PA is such a beautiful state to drive through this time of year. Of course that's only until it snows, then an armored tank would allow you to enjoy the countryside without being ran off the road. ;)

Welcome aboard.

Not sure how to respond to individual comments, so here goes;

Brimstone:Thank you! I had already been vegetarian for a few years (for health). Then I made the switch after getting more involved with the online vegan community. I saw some of the harsh conditions the animals are subjected to in the animal agriculture industry, and realized I couldn't contribute to it anymore.

Jeebus: Yes! We've got a pretty tight-nit Pittsburgh vegan community. It's usually pretty easy finding vegan eateries and resources. We just post on the facebook group and people give feedback and advice.

Pyscho: haha so true. and thanks!

In the upper right hand of the page you wish to reply to, click the quotation symbol. There will be something like this "-(quote=tlscott post_id=34742 time=1510731488 user_id=4345]". (This is your personal id). Put the user's ID in the front, and end the sentence with "[/quote]" Then type what you would like to reply. :)
