My name is Roberto, Medical Doctor , Wiccan, married, 49 yrs. I am from El Salvador, Central America. Currently living in Costa Rica.
Vegetarian for 3 yrs, Vegan for 2 yrs and counting. I became vegetarian first because of ethics , I was very sad and some shameful that I ignored the animal suffering that takes place everywhere. After I watched all those movies and get more info out of Internet, I became involved in some activism in my country and be part of some groups all around the world.
I recommend highly vegan and vegetarian diet plans in my practice.
Thanks a lot for accepting me here.
Blessings.

Re: Hello from Central America!
Welcome Roberto, the medical profession is in dire need of more vegans. I travelled through your beautiful country a few years ago and was surprised by how easy it was to find good vegan food.
How to become vegan in 4.5 hours:
1.Watch Forks over Knives (Health)
2.Watch Cowspiracy (Environment)
3. Watch Earthlings (Ethics)
Congratulations, unless you are a complete idiot you are now a vegan.

Welcome Roberto, it's great to see more vegan doctors!
Is veganism gaining some traction in Costa Rica? How is it in El Salvador?
