Life Loving Greetings

Post by VGnizm »

Life Loving Greetings to all,

I am a newcomer to veganism and it all happened by happy coincidence. I started out by working on a commercial project to market wheat based meat substitutes as a sustainable alternative for the future. One thing led to another and i found myself encountering Vegans and was impressed by their profiles. They were young and dynamic people but above all they were extremely kind and pleasant; truly lovable beings. Further down the road the project evolved into a Vegan food project and i became more and more involved with the vegan lifestyle. Soon enough i became a purist Vegan myself mainly for the values inherent in the movement. I see so much hope for a better world in the eyes of these Life Loving beings and so i ended up opening my own company to develop and promote Vegan food items as well as a site to promote vegan ideals and a company to serve as a hub for commercial and humanitarian activities called LifeLovingFoods.com.

So in a few months i went from a meat substitute project manager to a Vegan food producer, activist and thinker. I have started a blog VGnizm.com to discuss advanced topics about self improvement and i am delighted to have found this forum because it seems to do just that. So i jumped in and can't wait to discuss the many ideas i have about Veganism and in particular the effect it has and can have on our world.

That's fab, sound's like you're coming at it from the strongest grounding you can have an ethical compassionate position, as well as what it can do for yourself mentally through minimalism, from your blog post:
In another case it seems that by simplifying one of our main needs of food and shelter it increases self confidence and reduces the negative effects of accumulating resources for security.
As there is a lot of overlap between minimalism and veganism you should find a lot of youtubers espousing the same:

Great stuff, well welcome, I only recently joined myself but enjoying the discussions, don't be shy to make a forum post about the first thing that comes to mind, you can also use the search function to see if anyone has brought up something similar and bring a thread back to life that way.

All the best :)

Thanks so much NZS for your input on this.

Veganism is great stuff and so is this forum. Myself, besides being a project developer, am a utopist thinker wishing this world would be a better place so you can imagine how delighted i was discovering the vegan planet :)

For some reason many things come together with this project that i developed because it is a means to generate a sustainable, ethical and economical food source for the world. I am fully convinced that our interaction with life is mainly a choice of perspective followed by action. Since thought precedes action, perspective is much more important.

It might be that some Vegans themselves are not aware of the incredible impact they are having by just being there. I mention my visit to Vegan Place in Paris which was the first vegan event i ever attended and it was very small and humble in size but gigantic in the impact it has on the psyche. Here in the midst of Paris i encounter young and beautiful people sacrificing their time and pleasure and paying double price for very basic food and doing it in such good humor and kindness it was like being on another planet.

It seemed to me similar to the hippy movement of the 60's but much more coherent and sustainable. I chose to call it a complimentary lifestyle because the beauty of it is that it fits into any religious or non-religious practice. Actually it amplifies it! And it very social and very modern. Quite frankly i believe there is much to do in learning and preaching about the uncovered benefits of this very unique lifestyle.

Since i do not have much time to write in many places i will copy and paste some of my articles that i publish on VGnizm.com here and elsewhere. If someone knows that it is not allowed then please comment on this post so that i know.

Welcome!

It's interesting to see somebody come into veganism from being in the meat replacement business.
Can you say what company you were working for before? It's great that you got that experience, I hope you're successful.
