Yeah well I guess that's true, to an extent. Maybe I try learning more about them to tell people what I think of them, not because I have any beliefs on what we should be doing.

Then again, unfounded hatred is amusing.
brimstoneSalad wrote:Although, one thing EquALLity missed: talking about it and being corrected can be an important means of education. You can become right by being wrong and accepting correction. If you keep your mouth shut the wrong ideas just stay inside and never get corrected.
Well I only say and know so much. I just say what I think.
brimstoneSalad wrote:When we talk about the effects of expressing ideas, we have to look at both sides: propagation and correction, and which is stronger.
Well for some situations it's definitely one or the other.
brimstoneSalad wrote: To be fair, Hillary did too, maybe more than Sanders in some ways. Remember when she said women who claim to have been raped have the right to be believed?
No.
brimstoneSalad wrote: Heard, sure, respected, sure, but there's this little thing called "innocent until proven guilty" which is only the foundation of the US justice system.
I would say that people should not doubt the victim, but also at the same time not take their word for it until all the evidence is out. Is it an asshole thing to do, sure, but it's most moral to consider everyone in the situation, not just one side (plus that's also a bit biased). I've heard of people whose lives were ruined because they were framed for being rapists.
brimstoneSalad wrote:Correct, he hasn't appointed anybody yet even; he can't start that until he's sworn in. So far it's just words.
Scary words, but words.
I ain't scared. I find it amusing, to be honest.

I remember the top one. Yeah, that was also quite lovely. His Presidential campaign had so much passion, and it really shows in those ads.

The second one is... Interesting. ;)

It's kind of interesting how he basically uses the same slogan as Clinton there, but in that one segment shows more passion for it than Clinton did throughout her whole campaign.

Ah yeah, that was one of her things.

Except it's extremely fake coming from her campaign.
