The U.S. backs oppressive dictatorships and then lies about the DPRK

Post by Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz »

"No one has shown more contempt for other nations and for the well-being of their own people than the depraved regime in north Korea. It is responsible for the starvation deaths of millions of north Koreans and for the imprisonment, torture, killing and oppression of countless more." - Donald Trump

The dotard Orange Man has relentlessly pushed for increased sanctions on the DPRK due to them pursuing their right to a nuclear deterrent, starving their populace, and blaming them for the blood which is staining his hands. He also cites the "imprisonment" (Acting like the U.S. does not have the largest prison population), "torture", "killing" and "oppression" which he claims the DPRK regime is responsible for. Not only are such slanders about the DPRK a complete fabrication of the truth, but the U.S. does not have the right to claim any moral high ground in this regard. They are currently backing Saudi Arabia, a country where women and gays are brutally oppressed. Not only that, but they have backed and are currently backing many other authoritarian regimes around the world, such as Francisco Franco in Spain, Augusto Pinochet in Chile, Pol Pot in Cambodia, Batista in Cuba, Suharto in Indonesia, The Shah in Iran, The Apartheid Regime in South Africa, Ngo Dinh Diem in South Vietnam, Ferdinand Marcos in the Philippines, Syngman Rhee, Park Chung-hee and Chun Doo-hwan in south Korea, Antonio de Oliveira Salazar in Portugal and Chiang Kai-shek in China. They also armed the Taliban.

It is truly the U.S. who is responsible for torture, killing and oppression around the world. Indeed, if a country did every atrocity they claim that the DPRK did, they would back them if it suited their interests to do so.

The U.S. attacking another country for imprisonment, torture, killing and oppression is like the KKK calling somebody a racist.
