Yes I believe I own my own body, yes it's diminished by illegitimate authority, how you move away from that you organize.
This is the answer you should've provided 3 pages ago.
I did multiple times, I just disagreed that answering such a fatuous question necessitated such a moronic praxis:

I'm in favour of building popular consciousness to replace a representative voting system with a voluntary communitarian spokes delegation one, I don't think sitting on your ass on polling day when there is a legitimate choice between two philosophies, one closer to total liberation than the other holds any merit.

It seems that the vegan ideal is founded on this very premise.
No, you have a philosophy which is staunchly egoist and solipsistic and project that onto everyone else, until you take the time to properly understand other peoples systems of philosophy, discussion with you isn't going to be worth anyone's time.

I've already seen that video. I was responding to your comment as him not being a rational person. Evolution aside, talk to him about voting. Since I get a lot of inspiration from Larken (because his videos helped me to realize I was an anarchist), a discussion between you and him can be useful for me, to balance out who's actually more rational when it comes to voting. From there, I will make my own judgment, and I promise to be unbiased about it. He had a debate against Victor Pross about open borders, and while I side with Larken by default, I thought Pross brought up some interesting perspectives that made me think twice.

Yes. I also do not believe in total anarchy (unless that's what one on an unclaimed island has decided for themselves). I believe that if you wish to reside in a country, like one may stay at a friend's house, you must abide by the rules--within reasonable limits. As one may witness a neighbor abusing their children, one must alert authorities and make it known when a government is abusing its people and advocate for respect when they can. The same applies to however a government is managed. In the USA, we vote on a group of people and one main person to dictate various aspects of our lives. If we don't like them, we are free to remove them without enough consensus if we so choose. By the people, not always for the people, but certainly by them. Well, at least half of them. Supposedly. In theory, maybe not in practice.

In other words, I believe we all own the right to our bodies, but when it comes to others' bodies things can get...messy. But we also may rightfully have that taken away. I do believe if someone murders someone else, aside from jail time, they should become the indentured servant/slave of the family or friends whose life they took away. But that's a debate for anther thread.

Yes. Do you?
BrianBlackwell wrote: Thu Sep 28, 2017 10:22 am However, every few years, millions of vegans step into a voting booth and push a button that says, "I grant this person the right to cast down dictates upon the 300,000,000 people within the arbitrary border called the United States, be they willing or not...
I do not understand how these mutually-exclusive ideas can reside within the same mind.
They can't unless that mind just isn't fully aware of the implications. Vegans don't have a problem with your first question, but I think they might well struggle with the second one. Just like meat-eaters by the way.

Yeah so, can't help you with reconciliating the two. Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents ;) nice thread.
